Fellowship Cup: First 4 matches

Yeah! We've had our first four matches of the tournament and indeed of the entire game!
The contestants faced off at Weathertop, and the struggles were fierce.

The first match was between Batman and Luke Skywalker, and the battle was swift. Batman knew the fighting style of his opponent well, and delivered a series of blocks and hits that kept him fairly well defended, yet delivered enough damage. His intelligence was key, as part way throughout the match he was able to increase his attack by analyzing the young jedi. Luke managed one slight hit, but the Dark Knight retaliated with a small grenade that damaged Luke severely. One final uppercut took him out.

Match two existed between Wolverine and Spiderman, and this one lasted a little bit longer. Spiderman began with pure speed delivering blow after blow, but the X-man took it well, and stayed in shape for quite a bit of it. Wolverine delivered one solid claw strike that damaged the web-slinger in the ribs, after which young Peter Parker decided to not let the enraged mutant hit him again. He outwitted him with a few fake maneuvers, followed by a flurry of hits that ended with an unconscious Logan.

The swiftest fight so far occured between the fast-talking Cajun mutant Gambit and the fast-moving hothead Human Torch. After a few lines of witty banter, Johnny Storm rapidly concluded the fight with one large blast of fire that damaged Gambit enough to render him unconscious.

The final of the first rounds were between powerhouses this time, in a battle between Doomsday, the bane of Superman, and the great Sephiroth.
Sephiroth was clearly outweighed in strength, but took the monster's hits well, and struck back with powerful magic blasts that quickly lowered his opponent's health. The greatest member of SOLDIER also won the battle of wits later, and increased his attack while looking for a weakness. Doomsday returned, however, in a hurt rage that the weak human was unable to stop, which leveled him.

Congrats to the winners, better luck next time to the losers, and kick some butt to those still to come. This is a good thing, you guys. Thanks for all the support.
